This site is meant to introduce you to the Toronto that you do not see on postcards or calendars. There are communities in Toronto that do not receive recognition from the media, politicians or from people that do not live there. The Inner City has been established to introduce you to these neighbourhoods in and around Toronto and provide you with a perspective of the city that is more than the CN Tower and Yonge Street. The blog is changed everyday so be sure to check it out regularly.

Shattered Shelter

Last Tuesday on my way home I noticed someone had shattered most of the glass walls of the bus shelter. It was fixed today. {April 12th, 2006}

Ug. That's so annoying. I remember after 'The Blackout' a few summers back that I was on my way to Aurora the following morning (most power was still out so I was on the Yonge Street bus) and someone had smashed almost all the bus shelters going up yonge from lawrence to Finch. What's the point. Some people really need their heads checked.

Kudos to Viacom & the TTC for getting the glass fixed so quickly.
