This site is meant to introduce you to the Toronto that you do not see on postcards or calendars. There are communities in Toronto that do not receive recognition from the media, politicians or from people that do not live there. The Inner City has been established to introduce you to these neighbourhoods in and around Toronto and provide you with a perspective of the city that is more than the CN Tower and Yonge Street. The blog is changed everyday so be sure to check it out regularly.

The Church

This is a church of Latter Day Saints, a Mormon church, in Brampton. I had to take it from the back of my van. I honestly have no idea where I was in 'B-town' last night because it was hailing pretty hard up there, plus all the roads in any suburb look exactly the same anyways. We went to see a movie called Syriana. This movie was confusing and hard to follow but the point of the movie was amazing. The most important thing to take away from the movie was that the United States's foreign actions always seek to benefit there own nation's economic betterment at the cost of other nations', like Iraq and soon Iran, and that they will blow you off the face of the Earth if you attempt to reform your country and deny the US the oil they need to run an efficient economy. {February 4th, 2006}

It was amazing to see this cross illuminated in this back alley. {February 1st, 2006}

This is a statute of Jesus Christ in a University of Toronto building. Making images of any religious figure is usually not acceptable as we have seen in the Middle East right now. {February 1st, 2006}

actually, christians don't care if u depict jesus, as long as hes white. now all the protesters against the cartoons are labelled as terrorists, but what if there were cartoons about the virgin mary actually not being a virgin, or jesus doing some gay shit with his 12 apostles, maybe thats why one of em quit, he wasnt down with it.
